We have been enjoying lots of local fruit at the moment, my little one would do anything for some strawberries/raspberries. On a Sunday night the ice cream van pays a call to our road, so we did the usual purse scramble and ran outside to get our fix. The ice cream is made down the road and is proper old fashioned italian stuff( Parravanis), they will fill your bowl if you take it outside (as we used to have to do before we got our freezer box), this time we plumped for Strawberry flavour to compliment our soft fruit-yum!
How lovely that they fill your bowl....Suzy is adorable and looks to be a very fine hen...

Yep they are great, do lots of lovely flavours too. Suzy isn't looking bad for a 6 year old hen, still laying and outliving our other 3 hens-can thoroughly recommend Black Rock hens! Catx
ReplyDeleteWe get paravannis here on Sunday morning but stopped buying as we get a really nasty driver who glares at the girls and won't talk. Such a shame I need to check if he gone and then we can buy again. Hope to see you soon. Ill txt you. X
ReplyDeleteOOh thats not very good, an ice cream van driver who doesn't like children-career faux pass there! Hopefully he has relocated to work somewhere that he can't upset anyone-like a morgue! Catx
